Nicholas Scalera earned his BFA in Woodworking from the University of New Hampshire in 2004. Since graduating, Nicholas has  traveled all over the world, including  China, New Zealand and Fiji.  He has lived on sailboats and out of his backpack while trekking through Laos, Tasmania and the island of Tahiti. He has worked with expert craftsmen from a variety of backgrounds, to create  specialized furniture and wood design. All of these experiences have informed his eclectic, minimalism aesthetic.  

Nicholas' wood and design work  is  exceptional in its quality of craft, economy of space and understated elegance. His passion for fine woodworking shines through in each piece.
